Working with Genstruct

Genstruct enters into collaborative research agreements for the discovery and validation of compound mechanisms, disease mechanisms, mechanistically-based (type I) biomarkers and targets. Currently, Genstruct supports four types of collaborations:
– pilots
– projects
– programs
– strategic partnerships

Genstruct has partners within the various types of collaboration. A pilot is a short research collaboration designed to introduce and showcase Genstruct's abilities and expertise. Thus far, pilots have all converted into either a series of unrelated projects or a program within the same theraputic area. Projects and programs are expected to develop into strategic partnerships, where the mutual goal of both Genstruct and our partners is to create a more efficient end-to-end discovery and development process by adopting Genstruct's methodologies and frameworks. This typically results in systemic changes in our partner's drug discovery process, as well as cross organizational collaborations and technololgy licensing if the partner so chooses.

Our research partners include pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, as well as research institutes and academic centers. Genstruct offers our partners a broad range of resources and expertise in systems biology, disease biology, knowledge modeling, experimental design / implementation and expression analysis. Partnership grants access to our science, technology and methodologies, which generates and evaluates thousands of biologically relevant hypotheses, delivering results unattainable through traditional discovery methods.
